Bought this Suunto G.P.S. watch a week or so ago. It recharged via the USB port on the computer and all info for the days ride is uploaded to the web site -movescount.
Very impressive watch to boot. Took it for a run today and loaded up the following

1. ride 3 hours and 45 seconds
2. kl traveled were 231
3. Altitude
4. temperature....28C
5  top speed of the bike - today it was a short 123kl burst
6. average speed.

About 1.30 into the ride I stopped by a creek and loading the data to the movescount site you could follow my walk pattern around the bike over to a creek and back again to the bike.
There also a graph that will show you your bike speed in any one section of the ride.
All data is very accurate via google mapping.
I tried to copy. paste info from the site but no luck.
It's not cheap at $500 but if your into that kind of stuff. Well worth it
Score 10/10

Great for bush walking too. Just set the GPS and head off into the thick scrub and follow your trail back by 3D compass or text

The world needs to thank America for the tax-payer-funded GPS system... 8)

Looks like a clone of Garmin's Foretrex 401 and 301, popular with the boys in the fields.
Mounting the Foretrex on the bullet requires some fantasy, which I lack. I strap it around the brake fluid box.
I'm a huge fan of this kind of navigational aid: it gives you exact location and altitude of your position and the target and lets you deal yourself with how to get there. Stores waypoints, tracks, routes. Allows backtracking. Gives info on efemerides, seasonal hunting & fishing data.

Enables you to take the bike on the sailing boat and the parachute, how's about that for multi-functionality?  ;D

That's really cool, and functional!  Too bad it's out of my price range for fun little toys.

Might consider having one installed on my kids when they become teenagers.

I spent my teen years in a small town north of Toronto. My parents were fooled into letting me and my friends borrow the car to go 'to the library'..   I told them years later that the Library was the name of a dance club in Buffalo New York.
