The late Joe Mondello's name is familiar to many RE forum members since he worked with ACE.CAFE to design Fireball engine heads. His name and expertise has come up in many threads posted by Tom, so much so that he seems to be a familiar person except I never met him nor seen what he looked like.

To my pleasant surprise, while going through a book there he was on one of the pages with his machine checking the flow rates. It was nice to see his picture - finally a face to the name. Wanted to share this with the RE Forum.

Hi SinghG5.

Thanks for bringing this to us with the photo.
Coming up in April will be 2 years since Joe passed away.

Here's a photo of me and Joe with the first Fireball head which is now on Chumma's bike.

Mr. Mondello was and still is legendary in NHRA and NASCAR.
No matter where you go, there, you are.
