How thick is the lining on new rear brake shoes?  I'm down to about 2-3mm in one spot so it's time to order new ones, just wondering how thick new ones are to start with.

They usually run about 6mm, I think. It's been awhile since I've measured one.
I even checked some manuals, no data on worn limits or anything. I guess yo find out how thick they are when you by new ones, and how thin they are when you hear metal to metal!
