From my friends at National Powersports (http://www.nationalpowersports.net/itemDetail.aspx?itemID=9016)

In case you haven't seen the 2013's yet...  you might notice some changes:

Thanks, but I prefer the gold!  And, Ducatti Scotty: no screws holding the tank badge on...

Guess they took my advice and went with tape!  Much as I like the gold the white striping looks really old school.  That thing is just begging for a sidecar.

The new B5 made a subtle stealth entry in to the market, didn't it?  8)

The first time I saw the silver striping and the new badge was in this YouTube video last year - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTFLGJlKYA8

And then I noticed it in this thread, in one of the pics behind Bare and the Cafe Racer http://www.enfieldmotorcycles.com/forum/index.php/topic,15621.msg168728.html#msg168728

As much as I like the new wings, I think that at one point, they might drop off, even if stuck with an adhesive on a metal tank that is susceptible to continuous vibration and moisture/rain. Since ages, they've done the gold pin-striping, and frankly I'm too used to that. The silver isn't bad, but there's just something nice about the gold with the black..

The silver striping with the overall chrome/alloy polish of the bike just give the new model a mono-tone look.  :-\ But again..that's just me  ;)

Still nice though! Long live RE and the B5  ;D

Scott - I think JVS is right about the stripes being silver.  The badge seems to have a more modern look.  And, somehow it looks less flimsy and better made, but it could just be the pic.

I'm glad I have the old badge, and the gold stripes.  Although, I am not crazy about the reflective red tape on my badge - I may yet strip it off and paint red stripes...

This is just stunning. Puts the B5 neck-and-neck with the G5 on my want-list.

The colors on the new B5 go perfect with a Cozy Rocket. We haven't mounted one yet, but have them sitting next to each other. No need to repaint this one.

You can only ask!  They're taking care of my badly placed badges, and yours are worse than mine!  I'm happy with the old badges, though...

Sorry, didn't realize it was silver.  Still, looks great even if it is an affront to those loyal to the gold.

I think the badges look a bit better because they have sharper facets to the design.  I'm betting they are the same kind of thin, light, stamped metal.  And that's a good thing, they'll hold on better with adhesive.  It think the adhesive will be fine, most modern car badges are held on the same way.  And they don't fall off with any regularity.  I'm glad they went this way, much easier to get them straight and much easier to fix if you don't.

Motomatays, PLEASE post a pic of it with the rocket when you get that mounted!  I'd love to see it.
