Greetings. I'm a new guy to the forum. I live in NW MN so not much bike activity this time of the year except in the shop. I'm new to Royal Enfields but not new to bikes having owned a number of them over the years. I worked in a shop that sold Hondas,Nortons and Ducatis and a friend had the BSA dealership. Now I'm an old retired guy that still rides and I have collected up some vintage bikes and now I have the urge to own a RE so I will have a number of questions that I'm sure are common knowledge for you guys but I'm new to this brand. Thanks for the opportunity to participate in this forum and please be patient with my elementary questions. Darvin

I've learned very quickly that no question is too elementary to get a friendly response from the people here. Don't be shy, and welcome to the group.

If you own vintage bikes, you just got another one. The biggest difference is the EFI and electronic ignition, neither of which are you going to really need to do anything to. The rest of it is pretty much the same as your other vintage bikes, assuming some of them are English. You'll probably realize after you really check out the new Enfield how close it is to the other ones.
You'll find your question list will shorten up a lot as soon as your familiar with the new one.
