You ought to read Johnathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. Its about a seagull learning to fly; but it is really about how we learn about life and its ups and downs. Might help and can not hurt.

Most of Bach's books are great. But I've met him and AFAIC, he's a real ass. Now ya know it's got to be really bad if I'd expend the effort to badmouth anyone!
