Hi all--

Would like to introduce REKen, a guy who just moved back to the States from where I am in India, and brought along a customized 1987 Bullet.  He's not new to motorcycles but is pretty new to Enfields, so I wanted to make sure he knew where to come for help.  Unfortunately, he didn't get to ride the bike even once before he left India.  Long story.

He's in the Washington, DC area for now and could use any recommendations on mechanics or knowledgeable riders...the bike is just beginning break-in now.

He's also interested in possibly Fireballing it someday, and if anyone has a lead on a machinist who could convert the cases, that'd be useful info.  I know it's not a huge job, but the few classic bike specialists I emailed about it were completely unwilling to take it on.

Thanks for helping him out-

MD

Have him post his intro in the forum and ask what he wants to know. You know how these guys are, always willing to help.

Chumma is the person to ask about cases. Have your friend post to the forum, and I'm sure Chumma will respond.
