What gives?  Home state of CMW.....all kinds of bikes including a massive display of Urals with sidecars, Triumphs and a nice row of vintage British and Japanese bikes but no RE in sight.

Out of sight is out of mind for potential buyers....would have been nice to have seen the RE Cafe Racer there.

Sorry it would have been nice to be there. You may notice a few brands missing. If I did it on my own I'd have to sell half a dozen bikes to make it pay. In the end it might directly generate one or two sales. The good news is Enfield seems to have gotten a lot of good press from the Dallas and LA shows.

Hopefully they are at the Novi Michigan show. I want to drool on that Cafe Racer in person.

Marty,
That is what I was thinking as well. It would have been nice if CMW had sponsored one of the small booths in the back.

Novi Michigan show?  That'd be you and about 13,813 Indian software engineers sharing that wish, I'd guess...

(But watch their heads explode when they see that a US Enfield costs over triple what they're used to paying for a new bike in India...)

Since RE has no presence in the Detroit area I doubt they are going to be here.
The booths at Novi are so expensive they have priced quite a few of the manufactures/dealers out. 2008 was the last time RE had a showing there.
I wouldn't be surprised if the IMS just blew Detroit right off in the future.
