Last weekend I went ahead and did the RHS conversion for the gearbox of my Electra X.
All the bushes used to plug the holes in the primary and the gearbox cover were fabricated using an aluminum rod, on a lathe.
The stock gear shift rod is shortened and reused for the RHS use. An oil grove was cut and a O ring is being placed to avoid oil seepage.

The braking has improved and the gear shift feels positive. Really started to like this configuration and nevertheless, this suits an old British bike single  ;)
