That "nonrefundable" part is what scares me a bit. What if they fold before it takes off, or the things end up being total turds? I think I'll wait and see.

Yes they are beautiful. All hand made, so Ace you could order one without the HD twin and put a 1070 Musket/Fireball on it, THAT would look & run great ;D .

I love those Morgan 3 wheelers. If I had the funds I would consider one.  There is a TV series called "How it's Made" and they had a show on those Morgans. Handmade using traditional (and some modern) techniques from start to finish.  I'll take one in British racing green with a quilted brown leather interior.

The Ace Cycle Car is made in the US, under license from Morgan. (they got sued by morgan for patent infringement & morgan won)

The Elio guys sound like Jim Bede and the BD-5!
As for Christmas and his cantilever wings, the original Fokker DR-1 Triplane was to have cantilever wings, but he ended up with the interplane struts because the pilots wouldn't fly it without them.
The Christmas wings look far too thin to be cantilever with the material used and if they were using wing warping for control that means the wings weren't stiff enough to be cantilever. Another crackpot.
