May not be able to use a socket on nut by his description of it.  ERC

About 2 1/2 inches, i can't find a socket that large, even on ebay. The gouges make a socket impossible anyway, the metal is literally chewed up. I'll eventually figure somehing out.
On another note, where can I go to learn how to set up timing correctly after taking the timing chain off?
