Well my first order on the Hagon rear shocks was pretty close for comfort/handling but still hard on my back so when i  sold the black C5 those shocks followed shortly afterwards. From memory they were the medium damper with 18kg springs.
This time round I purchased the softer damper with the 16kg spring. Today, I took it for a 60kl run and was very happy with the ride and the way it rode over the bumps - and I had it set at it's lightest setting.
I might try the other 2 adjustments over the next few days and see what happens to the ride etc.
What i did like about the fitting to the new C5 was how snug the shock top fits into the tower.
On my old C5 there was a good 1/4 in play in either direction and you could easily wiggle the shock side to side.

Looks really nice Bill.  Glad you like the softer setup.  If it's not to personal, what do you weigh?

Also, you can move the chrome caps over from the old shocks to the new if you like.  If you want to know how let me know.

Bill, do these shocks lower the rear of the bike some or are they pretty much the same length as the OEM?

Normally, you would buy the shocks at the same length as the stock ones, but you can by any length you like.
Call Dave Quinn Motorcycles, 203-393-2651 and discuss your needs. They can fix you up.

same length as the original ones - so no difference in ride height
