I really did not want to put on bar end mirrors and finally I found these things:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VBZU7I/ref=cm_cr_mts_prod_img

They are 10mm on both ends so they fit my Bullet G5 mirrors and bars perfectly.

They are not very big, but they are high enough and wide enough to make my stock mirrors useful!! Now I can see behind me, life is good...Plus, they only cost about 15 bucks.

They come in chrome or black. I got black. Easy install.

If you order them get 2 RH. RH stands for right hand threads, not the side of the bike. LH stands for left hand threads and obviously will not work on a Bullet.

Same bolt size on the standard C5 stalk mirrors? If so I'm going to get a pair of these -- the standard mirrors are too close to my shoulders (left/right) for me to be able to see around my own fat body...

Good one.

Not sure what size C5 has, but if they are 10mm holes it will work!

Take off a mirror and measure the diameter with a little ruler, you should be able to tell if it is 10mm or not. That is how I did it.
