Holy smokes!  Where have you been hiding that thing?  It's gorgeous!  Yes please to a proper build write up... get crackin'!

roughly $47 for the parts.

Plus another $50 for the shipping?  :(

maybe $15 for shipping on those parts....
but I can't complain because anytime I'm unhappy with a part they refund or give me a better part with no questions asked.

the gas cap conversion came with an indian made twist cap from the 90's models(the cap twisted, tightened down and then you could pry it off as soon as you pulled up on it) they sent me a british made cap without even second guessing it. works like a charm. love those guys.

GHG: You have certainly put in a lot of thought into building this (probably a lot of coin too). There is a lot of detail in the paint scheme, especially the pinstriping that accentuates the color. This is one of the best RE based cafe's I have seen. Nicely done brother. Do a write up when you find time (especially about the sprung cafe seat).

That's a really beautiful bike G.G. Witty little details everywhere you look. I'd love to see more!

after gaitors I'm looking for a custom top yoke and headlight with a bracket instead of the stock set up.

The top yoke and bracket mounted headlight are available from NFG.

Yes, I agree Scott.  Either would work well, and I debated whether to use use the gators or not.  The C-5 does have really nice front end to begin with.

Your bike needs gaitors, that's straight up rocker style!  And I think the last pic I saw was when you re-drilled your fender to take the torque out.  It's come quite a way since then!  Truly beautiful.  Homemade mounts with Tarozzi rearsets?  Nicely done.
