.... Believe me I have arrived home with a new motorcycle more than just a few times without her knowing and I think she'll poison my food this go around.
Say you've cancelled your life insurance when you bring the RE home - less or no incentive in poisoning you. :-) And nothing wrong with old, chubby and bald guys *cough* - you're probably a much better catch for her than you might think. A pretty Royal Enfield bike will not change that. And ladies are into pretty things...:-)
As for the arthritis - more bones to move with a RE than with a (modern) Vespa I daresay....hmm...

Good luck!
Michael

NickDanger - remember, James never sees a penny of royalties in his condition, so just leave the firearms at home, or at least wear a kevlar vest!

Well, not exactly a Mod, just lived in a beach town in Florida so riding a scooter was just part of the laid back scene...  I only started riding them about 3 years ago.  They're convenient to ride, no shifting, no helmet, just shades, shorts, tank top and flip flops...  Also since scooters aren't cool, it was kinda counter culture, whenever some idiot on a Harley had a wise a$$ remark to make about me riding a scooter I replied I'm not trying to compensate for lack of something, usually shut them up real quick.

Sounds like the typical Royal Enfield attire for the riders in India.  ;D

Well, I think the transition from scooter to Royal Enfield is quite natural. However, in contrast to Vespa advertising showing young, pretty people in light summer gear with their Vespas on the piazza, I never got into this shade-tank top-flip flop thing.   :D
I loved my ET4 dearly, but it doesn't show up in my bike memory - only got two, the RD350 and now the C5.

kind regards
Michael
