Dug up an old catalog and there's a cafe style Bullet on the cover, I believe a guy named Matt Davis of a punk band or something? I recall reading a magazine article on him and his Enfield, how he had it built as he loved to go fast.....What I'm wondering, if anybody has a picture of it, is what seat is on it? It's not the one offered from Enfield,  but a much nicer looking and fitting one. And the bike also has BSA type rear fender stays, never seen those anywhere either. Anybody have an idea who what where??  Here's a pic I found...
Thanks

It appears to be a stock seat with a custom made upholstery.

Clubman bars, rear-sets, Goldstar semi-swept back exhaust, some different fenders and stays.
Carb looks stock, and stock airbox. That's a clue that not much is done inside.
Armstrong-style covered shocks.
The very bad "bike falls over" side-stand.

Not a bad looking bike at all.

Looks to be 2002/3/4 vintage. It's a 4-speed ES.

I found some reference to the stays actually being BSA items, no idea off of what model, nothing on the seat, but it does sort of look like maybe a shave and custom covering?

I would venture a guess that the seat is a shave and custom cover.
It's not really like the British seat, and I haven't seen others like that with the little ducktail up-tick at the back like an Interceptor had.

Isn't it the English dual seat? I have one of those hanging up at the shop, we got it years ago for a customer who decided he didn't want it when it came in. This seat has a slight kick-up at the back of the seat.

No, the one on the bike has piping around the whole top if you look close you'll see that, and it looks to have more contour to it than the one you show. I'm still thinking it is the stock seat with the foam shaved and a new cover with piping, maybe a new piece of foam even?
