i duct taped my camera to the passenger peg and took a ride. i got it up to 65mph during the ride. that is the part when you just hear wind noise.
toward the end i an cruising at about 50 and you can hear it then.

i installed the air filter and breather.
the bike feels like it is running better, i'll check the gas mileage in the next few days.
overall i really like this exhaust/intake mod.
and i got a new tool box on the bike.

Thanks for getting the audio out for this exhaust. This does help if in case my finance minister (my wife  ) does give me some allowance!! 
Yeah, mileage would be good to know after the intake mod; Thanks for doing it for the rest of us!

so on the first 140 mile loop from sebastopol to santa rosa to bodega bay to duncans mill to tomales and back to sebastopol with a run on the highway it got 69.6 mpg.....just about what i was getting with my riding style before the instalation of the complete D&D system. throttle response is better and i love the exhaust note.

Motorat, thanks for the update...now you've got me itching to install the new filter and breather that's been sitting on a shelf in my garage for a month. Any quirky things about the install or pretty straight forward? I'm looking forward to gaining the toolbox. Either way, I agree, I'm really liking the way the D&D sounds on my bike too and I'm happy with the purchase...but i'm in WI, so it's been pretty cold for riding lately, highs only around 40 F.

on the install it says to remove the air box, also remove the tool box for easier install of the air filter. it was pretty straight foreward and took less than an hour. i'll get a pic of the filter tonight,
here is the new tool box.
and the new position of the 02 sensor....it is moved inward and no spacer is required for the crash bar now.

I like that spot for the O2 sensor, more stealthy.

I'm generally not a fan of loud aftermarket exhausts but this one is really pulling me in.

Hey fellas! Just would like to add my input on the D&D slip on. New to the forum so dont want to step on any toes( motorat for one for his excelent posting of video ). Would like to point out some things I felt havnt been posted on this particular exhaust.....( i wear a full face helmet ) and the note for me from stock even at idle is noticibly deeper and anything from idle is a very resonding "THUMP THUMP THUMP" Which I love, but the people around might not. I havnt passed a patrol man yet but I fear anything but pulling in the clutch and passing him at idle might get me pulled over! ( I might add im in Ca. where sneezing might get me a ticket though ) The chroming finish on these are top notch!! I dont know if anyone else has noticed this but since changing to the D&D I used to shift from 4th to 5th gear at 45 mph and now I shift at 55 mph. Also as others have noted ive experienced a slight loss of low end torque....maybe cause of lack of back pressure? Anyways I love it and im gonna run it untill the tickets ( or neighbors ) outweigh my eargasms!! LOL!! Cheers Skoont!
