RE was dropeed by Munroe motors of San Francisco.
I have warned people to stay away from this shop in the past. Now we see how committed  they are to RE riders. I say we drop them as well. Never Again!!!!

Its OK i only went there for warranty work and thats expired. I have a much better guy when I need a hand on anything. I know for a fact they sold a lot of Enfields. Glad we have a new dealer in Fremont.

I wonder what went wrong with them. They have been in business for a long time.

they did not give a crap about RE.
i talked to them before i bought mine and their attitude toward the bike was obvious. they had no demo bike and they told me that i could rent one if i wanted to test ride one.

I stopped there once while passing though SF on my Ducati, needed something small taken care of while I was on the road.  After waiting in line for 20 minutes they told me they were booked all day and couldn't help me.  I sorted it out on my own but put them on the list of places not to go again.

they were most attentive when I ordered my G5 in green back in March 2011 to the point that when it arrived I discovered that it was practically made for me. (none in the US or on the way when I tried to order one one but a few weeks later it was on the container winding it's way to California). Getting a service was not so easy (even though the first one reminded me why I do my own).

Thanks, Saint45, will check them out. Could be handy if they carry a few common spares.

Point taken , Bare. Still sourcing most of mine from Hitchcocks and Bulletwala. Not knocking our host but the speed of supply is often important when your bullet is your daily ride.

Just to chime in, I found Munroe's to be a very nice place, with nice people and a good service operation.  They didn't seem too jazzed about the RE, however, and didn't make an effort to sell me one.  They're a little more of a racer's shop, it seemed to me, and more pumped about their Italian bikes.  I'm glad Fremont got the franchise...they're closer to me, anyway.
