I have a 2008 iron barrel with 2000 miles on it I am considering installing polished wheel hubs this winter. Is it advisable to upgrade the wheel bearings at this time? ( my concern is the quality of the originals)
The computer can't tell you the emotional story. It can give you the exact mathematical design, but what's missing is the eyebrows. FZ

Yes. Very advisable.
We have seen some good results with some affordable ceramic ball bearings in those applications. Much lower rolling resistance.

Thanks Tom. Now where might I find affordable ceramic bearings.  the places I have been looking are showing bearings going from $125 and up I know that can't be right.

Chumma is using some VXB ceramics on his right now, and he likes them.
They are much more affordable.

I called VXB in CA. They had nothing for the specs I gave them. I'll PMChumma to see what he used.
