Was wondering if it is possible to fit a kicker to the non-kick UCE engines. I've got a possible sweet deal on a 2010 but really want one with a kickstart. Is it possible, simple complex, or no-go?

Thanks! :)

I've seen on the forum where someone has added a kickstart to a C5 and I've also seen responses saying it's basically a no-go.  If you really want a kickstart, I'd suggest buying a bike already equipped with one.

It won't be worth chasing the parts from this continent.   ( Unless you find a dead donor )

It's not that hard to do, but it does require a total engine teardown. The kickstart gears are inside the gearbox.

I suppose you could just bolt the kicker to the engine side case if you just wanted the style aspect :)

Well maybe one day RE will come up with a kit or something. Really is strange they did'nt include one from the beginning. I'm sure that's been discussed already.  I guess I'll have to not worry, or just keep searching for one with it. ;)

It is doable. I saw an 2009 or 2010 C5 at Scooter Bob's where he had put in a kick-starter using parts from another source.
