Update, I rode a 300 miler and the flyscreen was great! it takes a lot of pressure of the upper body and makes the bike a lot less tiring. I was feeling great at the end of the ride. I'm ready for more!
One of the best mods I've made! I see why they had them on Norton Manxes and such!

I wasn't too impressed with the silver paint applied to the various welds on my 2012 Enfield Electra EFI's exhaust system (and rear brake pedal) when I bought it. Most of it was already flaking off ...  A local motor factor suggested a very high temperature silver paint by Simonize.  It comes as an aerosol, but I didn't apply it straight from the can.  I sprayed some into a jar and used a small brush.  I gave all the exhaust welds and the ridged exhaust flange 2 coats, with a decent run between. Even after a few weeks riding in the scottish winter, the finish is great. Check out:

Thanks for a great forum.

I like the subtle look of your flyscreen.  Goes really well with your bike.

I have a larger windscreen that I've used on some of my other bikes and it definitely makes the ride so much more comfortable.  I just don't like the looks of mine.  It's a must on the I-5 though... keeps the bugs out of your teeth!

Here's the carnage after one such ride:

I wondered why they are called fly-screens .....  I now understand the origin of the name !
