Hey everyone,
I've had my Enfield for about a year now and have consistently had the 'false neutral' problem; I've tried many of the solutions offered by others and haven't had any luck with them. After being hit on my left side by a car changing lanes, I had to remove the foot peg and readjust the rubber. When putting it back on (the entire metal peg), I accidentally tightened it on a notch too far back, leaving more room between it and the gear selector. This has inadvertently caused me to naturally use more force while shifting, as I'm now hitting the gear selector with my toes rather than the middle of my foot. So far, I haven't had a single false neutral. It's a pretty simple fix that may work for anyone else that can't seem to get rid of them.
