Here she is, up and running, with my mate Dave 'Trident' in the hot seat and a fleeting glimpse of yours truly assisting in finding neutral via the 'skull'  hand shifter in the white T shirt.
 Enjoy, B.W.:

Looks and sounds good. Tell us if you will, what goes inside an ASBO: piston, cams head mods etc.

The basic build is a lightened and rebalanced crank, for much better accelaration and power, as well as a shortened barrel - the featured machine runs an 8.5:1 compression ratio, standard cams and my own porting work on the head. the carb was to be a 34mm MK II Amal, Kevin, the owner got a 32 mm one from e-bay and it works fine. The exhaust system and inlet manifold are his own work. There is a standard big end [plain] and conrod, but this was highly polished before refitting to the crank. Samrat rockers and high capacity oil pumps are also fitted, as well as competition valves and springs. An 'Asbo' motor can be built with any available cams, pistons, conrods etc, to suit owners' specs and budgets. The only constant being the crank, barrel and porting modifications. Number 9 is nearing completion, the engine already installed in the owner's machine.

Christ! No helmet and you are riding on the road in the U.K.! You lot must be the dreaded Hell's Angels the government warned us about way back when.
Nice one B.W. Two thumbs up for Robert & REnfield.  8) 8) 8)

Congrats--seems like it runs fantastically.  Can only aspire to something like that right now, but I do...

Can't say I love the particular twin lamp setup but points of style are fairly immaterial, and overall, the bike cuts a great silhouette.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle

Thanks for the kind comments, guys ! For what it's worth, I'd lose the twin headlamps too, but it's not my bike. If you look at Dave, after I get neutral for him, the importance of a front mudguard [fender] becomes evident - there is a farm up the lane and Dave went charging through a load of cowshit that was on the road - that's why he rubs his face as soon as his clutch hand becomes free !
Incidentally, I must have found him the wrong 'neutral', because when he pulls away again at the end of the clip, he is starting off in 2nd gear ! [evident by the slight crunch going into gear and the speed he gets up to in that gear]
