I'm in Santa Cruz but I've been up that way a couple times on my Enfield.  My brother lives in Rocklin and I like to visit by way of the Delta. So many nice rides for an Enfield up that way!

San Lorenzo , by the bay here. only the roads in the hills and the coast are fun on an RE here. To light on the bridges and the freeways suck , dice with death , to many , drunk, stoned psychos . And Caltrans loves to grind trenches in the road surface with each lane configuration change leaving the surfaces like ploughed fields.
