The Factory Cafe Racers double down tube cradle frame looks like it was made for a 750cc parallel twin.

Odd too is how the center seam of the UCE crank case is offset to the left of the center line.

My gut hunch is that when the P twin is finally unveiled it will be UCE technology based, use as many off the shelf parts as practical and be nestled in a version of the Cafe Racer frame.
No matter where you go, there, you are.

Spoke with a dealer last month. He informed me that REM has no plans for a twin of any sort.
 No V-twin or parallel ....nothing.

And why would RE want to try anything risky when they seem to have a waiting list for a new single.

  Highly interesting.

What the dealer says is at odds with what the CEO said in previous interviews.

Is this a new development ?

Did the dealer say where he got the info ?

Yeah, I was under the impression that RE WAS trying to build newer technology engines while retaining the vintage look.  Hence why the UCE and the new Cafe Racer were designed.  I'm sure we will be hearing more about these plans in this upcoming year.  It would be exciting for RE to come back with a twin, V or Parallel.

It is a parallel twin 750. From CMW. I think it will be called the Intercepter. Waddaya think the new factory is for? Why would you think they'd come out with a V-twin? Hardley's building factory over there. You think Enfield would bump heads directly with them?

Somebody  wrote on the Hitchcock's forum about a quote from Classic Bike magazine May issue, that it would be out by 2015.
Parallel twin. No solid info on the displacement.
Rumors are that it will be called Interceptor.
