I have a 2008 AVL that needs some attention, but I've not been able to find a mechanic that will work on Royal Enfield bikes in the Seattle area. The bike is in good condition, but I think the valves should be adjusted and the chain tensioned. I just don't have the time or space to do this myself...and there is a good chance I'll f*** it up if I make an attempt. I bought the bike from Vince in Olympia, but that's a bit of a haul for me. Is there really nobody in Seattle that will work on these bikes?

How far south can you come with it ?

I live near Olympia. Me and a few others might could meet you half way and walk you/talk you through the steps.
No matter where you go, there, you are.

It's been a long time since I lived in the Seattle area (Bremerton), but if I recall correctly, there were a ton of private motorcycle shops in Belleview.

The Enfield saves on gas, riding the Enfield saves on Prozac. ;)
