I have read and read and read.  I cannot find an answer that says which direction the 46mm nut that holds the final drive sprocket in place goes.  Very simply, righty tighty lefty loosey, or righty loosey lefty tighty?  A clear answer not a link to a thread that I have read and does not answer the question would be great.  Also, the link to Singhg5's video also does not clear this up.  That is the one piece of info that was omitted.  Oh, and yes, I have unlocked the locking tabe and left the chain in place so that I can hold the break.  I have even used cheater bars and someone else holding the brake in place while I attempt to turn it counter clockwise to remove the nut.  Someone help me out here.

Thanks,

It's righty tighty, like most standard nuts. It needs a quick snap, or shock if you will, to get it to break loose. I'm sure that's why he did it with a hammer and chisel (more or less). I used a very large cresent wrench to get mine off.

I put an old fork tube on my breaker bar to get mine off. It gave me about 4 feet of leverage. Came of right nicely.
Lock the brake down by screwing in the adjuster nut.

Well I got it off after ordering a 46mm socket from the local car parts store.  Every where I went I got funny looks.  My father in law also went hunting for me and he was asked if he owned an aircraft carrier or a tank since he needed this huge socket.

Got it off, got everything buttoned up, went for a ride and discovered that the permatex gasket I had to make since nfield still has not sent me the real gasket that is supposed to be with the kit, leaked like a sieve.  Well, off came the case and new gaskety stuff applied, see it in the morning.
