Howdy,
I took the plunge yesterday.  Picked up a 2012 from Frank Kiss & Co. in Pottstown, PA.  This is my 13th bike.  I traded in a CBR250R (also purchased from Kiss).  I've been looking at Enfields for a while, but the lack of dealer network kind of scared me away.  Once a home town dealer had them, I was in!  I know that you've seen these before, but here's my new baby:

My other current ride is a 2005 Harley Sportster.  Currently set up for touring, it has 72,000 miles on it so I guess you could say I like the long trips.  Looking forward to enjoying the new ride too!

Welcome to the group Brad.
Nice bike and I notice it has the new front fork on it.  :D
That and the larger 19" front wheel should make the bike great to ride.

As you've probably read, these RE's need a gentle break in so spend some time putting around your neighborhood and back roads.  (Although the book says to limit the speed to 40 mph I often had to run it up to 45 to avoid the cages around me.  I think short "bursts" like that didn't cause any problem because I now have over 6300 miles on it and it's running like a champ!)

Beautiful bike. Now get out and enjoy it. 40 mph is too slow for 5th gear. Taking it to 45 is not a problem.

Got out for a bit today.  And I got my first "Hey, I like your bike" from a 20 something gal at the gas station.  I thanked her, and then, of course, I HAD to kick start it.   ;D  2nd kick ~ not too shabby! ::)

Brad, the comments will keep coming too. Wherever you go, people are amazed that the bike is so well restored and about fall over when you tell them it's brand new. It's a real classy bike with a lot of soul !
I would much rather ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow    Jack
