So, what's considered high?  These haven't been out for very long - how many miles have you serious riders put on these new engines?  What's the "record"?

11,500, going strong. No problems that weren't related to me.
Jack Leis is over 11,500, too, and no problems.

18600 happy kilometers on the G5, mostly up & down the Alpes. The head´s getting louder constantly, but I still have full power and almost no oil consumption.
Some vibration damage, though: my numberplate is shattered to pieces (in Germany it´s State property - my bike seems to be an anarchist), the horn gave up someday and newly the silencer´s retaining plate came asunder.
Otherwise all done and dusted. I´d like to quote Scotty: "Ride more - worry less"

7800 miles and so far no probs, singhG5 I believe as over 20,000miles- no probs, perhaps he will confirm soon.

20548 kilometres.

Short circuit behind headlight
Short circuit in tail light.

My sprag still works, but occasionally slips!!!

Engine & gearbox has been rock solid!!!
To ride or not to ride... That is the question!

17,000 kms. Only problems have been horn centre bolt loosened off and horn stopped working. Tightened it up and it works again.
Chrome bolt on top of forks loosened up, tightened it up. Replaced chain at 14,000km.
Heat shield cracked Fromm vibration as the front clip that holds it in place broke. Replaced under warranty.

   11,690 miles of sheer bliss.
I would much rather ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow    Jack
