Hello Guys, I have a unique dilemma, I specifically remember the 350 CC bullet which I rode when I was a kid ( Year 1983 ) being much bigger and heavier than my Current C5 Classic 2011.
Even right now when i ride my C5 around I obviously get the most awesome of comments, But whenever an INDIAN gentleman sees the bike the comments are, hey what happened? "I guess they make the bullet smaller nowadays".  I am wondering if its just me or were these bikes made bigger ( at least the 350'S ) when I was younger.
Cheers,
Mark F

The bike wasn't bigger, you were smaller.

It seems like only yesterday that Hodaka Ace 90 was a big heavy bike.

The export bike with the same frame and tank as the old Bullet 350 is the 19" wheel B5.

Find a dealer with a B5 in stock and compare one of those with your childhood recollections :D

The C5 with 18" wheels does indeed look small in comparison to the B5/G5 with 19" wheels.  Get a C5 special with a 19" front wheel and a fatter rear 18.  I have a Dunlop K70 3.5x19 in the front and a 4.0x18 rear.  Now it is nicely filled in and no longer looks small.

Wow.. Thanks guys that definitely helped a lot, I just might go with the 19" wheels . I have to also personally see a B5/G5 and compare.
Cheers.

If it's just the look your after you could try a bigger tire front and rear before going through the trouble of changing rims/ wheels. A bigger tire will fit the fenders and look drastically different too. One board member had good reports of the Kenda knock off of the dunlop k70 which are available in 18" diam. See thread here:
