Today I finally bought my Royal Enfield! I got the B5 and it is a beautiful machine. I can't even explain how happy I am right now after taking a lovely ride home from the dealership through the Santa Cruz mountains. The bike ran like a top! I also added on a few accessories at the point of sale: the 7" light kit, the EFI silencer and the counter sprocket.

The bike is calling me now, but I've got all these damn other things to do. Funny how responsibilities can get in the way of having a good time.

Oh ya, one last thing about buying the B5... the bike came with a little can of "Royal Enfield Glossy Black" spray paint! How great is that?

Good stuff Boots. I'm always finding 'urgent' stuff that I have to go out on my RE to do, things that if were left just a second longer could possibly 'impact my financial and physical well being'. Never, ever put these things off, get on yer bike and do them now. Stuff that doesn't entail a few miles of riding can wait.

Right on! Just remember sometimes you might get stuck in parking lots and gas stations when people suddenly come out of the wood work asking questions. Oh and when they ask who makes it try to resist the urge of saying something smart ass like "Sony".

what is that?
a royal enfield
who makes that?
since it was a friend of mine ...stupid look followed by..royal enfield.
