I painted both cars in exactly the same position  as the mazda - under the verandah. I t would have been early summer and about 20 degrees celius.
Prep wise - tiled area hosed down and the area enclosed in plastic sheeting to avoid spray drift.
Inline filter are ok but what the panel beaters use are toilet role filters. As the name implies. A large filter  with a toilet roll inside it.
Pretty expensive but you rarely get a water droplet on the work area. If you do you can bet your filter is wet.
For future reference I will get you a photo of the filter unit today.
It's the best thing I have used. If you spend several hours spraying a car and your gun shoots a few water droplets via a bad filter - hours of work gone if not rectified immediately.
regards

Wildbill:  Thanks for the pic.Go figure..Isn't that the shits..I just couldn't imagine what u were talking about..The pics explain it..I still would have to fabricate a inexpensive wood frame paint room with plastic sheeting next time I give it a try again...GM

i think these filter are usa made so they will be a lot cheaper than the $200 plus price tag here.
later today i will get you a photo of my temp plastic wrapped spray booth. to get the temp booth temperature up quick - i run a 2000watt panel heater.
duel purpose here. gets you up to the ideal spray temp at 20 degrees celsius and pre-warm the panels on your car/bike.
no use spraying in a warm environment on cold metal.

tank and shocks painted today along with brake gear and kicke.
the darker colour is very difficult to photograph due to light conditions - but it's better looking than you think

You're in trouble now.  It looks more military than the factory bikes.  I'm sooooooo telling Kevin on you!

Glad you like it - I'm actually enjoying playing with the spray gun again. it's a push over compared to a full re-spray on a car
