Hi Guys,
I am fairly new to this forum, 2 weeks ago I purchased my C5 Classic, I was wondering if there was a Local Northern CA Bullet riding group . I am from Stockton, CA and if there is no group, could we get together and maybe form one, It would obviously be fun and entertaining as well as educational.
Cheers,
Mark F

I don't know of a group in norcal. I'm in for starting one! I live in Santa Cruz. There are a few more folks around the bay on this forum.

That would be great, Lets figure a way where we can form up a group of like minded motorcyclists. How do you propose we get in touch.

Hello,
I'd really like to hook up and ride with you guys. I'm hoping to have a new Enfield before the end of Summer, so keep me posted.  I live in Campbell, CA just over the hill from Santa Cruz.

Fairfield. And yes, lets start a group. And as we all know there are some awesome places to ride around here. A while back I did a ride up to berryessa-->Clearlake-->Napa-->back. Riding up the delta to Sacto or up north to Bodega Bay are next on my list. We should post this in the rides section.

They are allowing bikes this year. It should be fun.

I rode 160 up the Sac river and another trip along the Russian river to bodega bay down trough Tamales bay. Both perfect for enfields!  Anyone up for a weekender through Tioga pass in two weeks?

Last weekend of July (28th and 29th) for Tioga.  I'll pin it down if I can actually do it and then post in rides.

Big Al here from BMW of Fresno.
With the number of nor-cal RE owners, I'm hoping the riding group can get together and share some adventures. Our shop would happily send up some RE goodies for you to enjoy!

Current bikes:
'71 BMW R75/5 racer
'73 Kaw Z1 racer
'77 Tri 750 Bonneville
'99 BMW R1100RT

Here in San Lorenzo by the bay (why do folks say in the bay?). Sounds like a good idea. But this is my busy time of the year at work , which sucks as the best weather is over by the time I get to really ride.

Plenty of nice riding weather in the winter in California!  I always feel bad for folks when I hear of them putting their bikes up for the winter in other parts.

Jartist,
I ride mine year round what ever the weather, raised that way in the UK. But enjoy social riding much more when the sun has got his hat off!

Hi guys,
My initial idea was to set up a RE and Friends group put together, maybe we could set up an email blast for the same group and plan a few things that would be fun for us all.  If that sounds good then maybe you guys could send me your emails and contact info which we could share mutually  with the group. It's just a suggestion. At least a start up of a group could be founded in this manner.
I can offer to collect the information and assimilate the same among the group. If that seems feasible then please get back to me and I would be glad to set the same up.
Cheers,
Mark F
