Here is what i started with after round one:

Added the Napoleons from Ebay (Thanks GSS)

Added the rear passenger seat, I think I am starting to like it.

Got the canvas bags (Thanks Motorat):

Used a sheet of aluminum to make a shell so that the bags retain the shape:

With the shell in the bag:

I hope I am done for now. I am really enjoying the mirrors no vibrations and a nice view of the traffic behind.

Thanks. As far as the seat goes, it came like that. Got it from the dealer in Texas, very nice guys to work with.

Don't the bags flutter when empty. They seem to have no harness points with the bike, on the lower side  :o

get some fuel line hose, slit it down one side, and slide it over the lower (sharp) edges of your bag inserts ......   just sayin'

There is a concealed zip tie (bag pack has a buckle on the lower  end for the shoulder strap) attaching it to the frame. The bags do not slide or flutter at all!! ;)

lowes/home depot sells small plastic edging that fits over their metal edging..It may do the job for those sharp edges..You might have to use a bit of glue to keep it in place..
Oh Magoo you done it again

I am currently looking for a pillion seat for my Royal Enfield Military. Can you please give me the name (and phone number if available) of the dealer in Texas from whom you bought the pillion seat.

Regards,
Ram.

Looking good!  I just bought the pillion seat recently but still waiting for it to self install.

Someone recommended using clear plastic tubing on your fender supports to keep the bag straps from rubbing through the paint.  You might give it a try.

Hi, Those Bar end mirrors are supposed to be turned horizontally, to get the best/widest rear view. Better to spot Patrol Cars & tailgating Buses in time.
Best Wishes, Craig McClure

I do that once in a while but the upright position works better for me.

Great job on the pillion seat. Could you please let me know where I could find a similar one for a C5 (Military green).
