being the owner of a military motorcycle i like to use the kicker for starting. in the morning it starts first kick. when it is warmed up sometimes the kicker doesnot engage ad i have to use the electric start.

what would cause this?
i deploy the kicker and step down and there is no resistance it just kicks through like it is not connected to the engine.

Are you pulling the clutch in?  The clutch has to be out for the kicker to engage.

Don't worry, plenty of company around here.  I don't even have a kicker.  I only know this because you're not the first to post this question ;)
