Apparently. I can't find another source. Even with the oil filter number, it does not show up anywhere. It's a Purolater P1(or I)-7123

I guess it depends on your reasons for buying elsewhere. If it's just the price then you're probably stuck but if for another reason then you don't need to order just from your dealer, you can order from other dealers. Many of them will pop it in the post for you. I often order stuff from some guys in Texas even though I'm nowhere near there.

just the price...the place where i bought the bike told me i cold order anything from them and they'll mail it to me. i had a klr650 before the RE and got use to being cheap.

I order from the dealer, next order will be 6 of them. And a gasket kit, just in case I mess them up.

I have purchased from NFieldgear as well as Bulletwala.  Both are fine.

i went with nfield gear along with the shop manual
