I'd definitely be interested in meeting up for a ride. I live in Toledo as well... how many miles we thinking? Could meet downtown Toledo somewhere, cruise down Broadway to River Rd, stay on River Rd through Perrysburg, Haskins, stop in Bowling Green for a beer, take curvy 105 into Pemberville.... umm, I'll work on this...

Sounds like you are in charge of the location. Tony Packo's sounds like a good meeting point. 10 AM?

I might be in for the 26th...

It would be about 2.5 hours on the expressway for me (coming from the middle of Michigan).  I'm not past the 2nd oil change quite yet so I've been keeping it slow (and off the expressway).  If I do enough riding between now and then and change the oil... :-)

Sounds great to me! Tony Packo's address is 1902 Front Street, Toledo, OH 43605. We can all meet there at 10 am, go for a nice long ride, and maybe end up back there later for dogs and brew. How long a ride is everyone thinking? And just for the record, I won't even take my G5 onto the interstate. Up to 60/65 mph on country roads suits me just fine :)

I'll try to make it, shouldn't be a problem as long as work doesn't throw me a curve ball.

I'll be with you all in spirit.  If anyone rides by the east side of Lansing en route to Tony Packo's, wave at my bike for me, wouldja?

Something has come up in my life and unfortunately I will not be able to go on the ride. Sorry to all.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that Desi - take care of your stuff, and we'll all do it again sometime. I'm still gonna be in Tony Packo's parking lot at 10 am this morning (in an hour and 1/2), and if anyone else shows up, super great. If not, I'll just enjoy this beautiful weather, me and my G5! Although it'd especially be great to meet Hobbydad - you've done such cool stuff to your C5!

Sorry I had to miss this ride. Going all the way to Toledo was too much for my 52 year old back. I live in Lakewood and that would be over 100 miles on back roads, I refuse to go on highways for more than half an hour, and that would be just to start a ride. Maybe in the future we Ohioans can meet in a more centralized location, I'm thinking either Port Clinton or Sandusky, and start a ride from there? Let's not let this hang and do nothing about it. The season is still not over so I still hope to get on the road with you guys before it's over. If not there's next year.

I missed it, I've been working 7pm-7am all week and lost track of what day it is. If you can get this on a phone or something, and your heading back to Packo's after the ride, I can swing by there then. I have a birthday party this afternoon, so I'll probably just make it a quick one. I'll check back here in a bit.

Eh, it's all good y'all. I just did like a 2-hour ride down 65/River Rd. It was one I hadn't taken so far, pretty trip through Grand Rapids, Ohio. Anyway, my butt was pretty sore after 2 hours... can't imagine doing one much longer than that anyway - you guys would have to have some tough assess riding from so many hours away, in my opinion. Anyway, I had fun all by myself ;) Maybe we can make something bigger happen before the end of the "season". Hey Hobbydad - do you take country/backroads to get up to Ypsilante, or do you take the interstate?

The first time we went we took backroads, the second time we went we flew up & down 23. Much more fun going the back way, lol.
