"I finally died which started the whole world living" said Robin Gibb when he sang "that the joke was on me."  He is no more.  But his voice and songs will be cherished with fond memories.  Rest in peace.  :( 

Only Barry is left out of the 4 brothers of BEE GEES trio - Maurice and Andy had passed away earlier. A powerful group that brought great music including songs for Saturday Night Fever.

we seem to be running out of bee gees.  I liked there pre disco era stuff more than the disco stuff. Songs like 'Massachusettes'. That's quite a lot for a former punk rocker like myself to say. gabba,gabba,hey.

I saw the Ramones in Chicago a LoNg tiMe aGo..  they opened for Iggy POp..


  and I liked the olde BG's better, but I listened to all of them..  ..  icons of their time

Fantastic group of singers. Robin had a wonderfully unique voice. The devastation from Maurice dying was almost to much for the remaining BG's but eventually they did continue. Hopefully Berry finds the strength to work through the loss of brother Robin and continue his writing and performing.
