I think a Karma is a woman who has children and likes Kars.

I can't afford to have another one and the one I do have isn't thrilled about getting an assistant.

I think I'll try to talk her into letting me get a Bikema instead.
-----------------
I know a lot of work went into building the new forum layout but so far I liked the older one better.
The direct links to the Nfieldgear store, Dealers, Bikes was handy to have.   I'm sure they will come back in one form or another?

Added:

Lwt Big Cheese?  Are you helping with this forum update?
I ask because that symbol that tells us new posts have been made sure looks like a Big Cheese to me.  ;D

Sorry Rhett should have posted this thread in Forum Improvement bit. Oh well.

No problemo. I'll move it over there.

Oh and as I'm mentioning over sights, is there a "Go Down" button to take you to the bottom of the thread?

I think there's an option for that. I'll see if I can find it and turn it on. If not, I'm sure we can add it. Did the old theme have a button for that?
What wouldn't you not do if you didn't know you wouldn't fail?

I am having trouble getting used to it also. Just figured out how to reply and am working on only seeing posts since my last sign in. Pictures etc. are in fact still a work in progress. Our hand was forced in that the we were on an old version and the new version has improved security and we could not keep the old format. There will be new features and I cannot articulate them but I am sure Rhett will. I don't know what the Karma thing is either
Best Regards,

I liked the old format, however, I also like way this new one greets you when you log on and tells what messages you have. I'm not a computer whiz, in fact I'm quite dense when it comes to these things. I had no idea that I had messages. Some of them quite old. I apologize for not getting back to those of you sent me these. cochi

                 WHY??

The old format was fine. You've got to remember that we are a bunch of guys running bikes that are a 50 year old design because we can; yes we prefer it.
If "New and improved" was always better Kevin would still be running a mental hospital.

What a whiny bunch of old grannies!   :-* You'll get used to it.   ::)  I will say that it is much easier to read the new format on my Kindle Fire.

No.

But it would be handy! It would save having to scroll for ages in the small window I use at work. I suppose I could wait until I get home to read the forum. But where's the fun in that?

I liked the old one better but that's just me. How come it was changed? Sometimes change is good but change for the sake of change isn't always good.

Being able to choose the skins would be nice.   I miss the Enfield emblem from the old forum.

Why all the whining ?

When you come to the website, just hit the "Show unread posts since last visit" button at the top of the screen. That will give you everything that has happened since your last visit.

And a huge advantage of the new format is that you can view big pictures without having to scroll left and right due to the narrow old format.

It's worlds better to me.
