Take the aforementioned jumper out. The headlight switch has a parking light position.

is there a way to moidify it so the headlight is on when the engine is on, BUT, i can still use the parking lights when it's off

I just installed the 7" headlight conversion, it has a small bulb i assume is a parking bulb, there were two wires that i pluggged into, looked right?

Thanks
Pault
Remove the " jumper wire" . You will then have full control of all lighting.

Parking lights on with the key off?  No.

Parking lights on with the key on?  Yes.  The headlight switch has three positions.  OFF, PARKING, HEADLIGHT.
With the switch in the center position the tail light, the two casquette lights (and your headlights parking bulb) should be on.
