had a mate do my first oil change on my C5 at a bit over the 300 mile mark. surprise surprise apart from this gunk on the magnetic sump plug - the oil pick-up screen plug was very clean. so very happy with the end results.

had a mate do it???  was you scared? they must have put your engine cases in the dishwasher before they put it together to not have a full screen

yeah............mate did it. i've had a few problems with chest pains over the past few weeks. had it booked in -but pulled out.
just in case something went wrong i want the return trip home..............not a one way job

yeah. these were brought on by medication i was taking for migraine headaches. a few weeks back -took the usual dose two hours later had trouble breathing followed by the odd chest pains.
last week the same except the chest pains were sharper. went to the dr. short story .dr said if i keep taking the medication i'll be heading in the direction of a stroke
so the pains still come and go - been to the heart specialist and waiting now for the results.
thought about the 4 hour trip each way to sydney plus the wait for the service. decided not to risk it.
