Not sure if anyone else has seen this - spotted this on David Blasco's blog at royalenfields.com
I'll try to just link to the youtube video, but it's from Cafe Racer TV on the Velocity Channel. A group of builders seem to be determined to make the C5 hit "the ton". I have the series set on my DVR, so I'm pretty excited to see the episode when it airs...

Yeah, I spoke to your agent.  He'll be calling you later with the details.  Remember we're friends when it comes time to negotiate.

I love the look, even with the modern style fairing.

Yeah, I would have preferred the big light, but man it does look good. Judging by the above video clip I was afraid it might be cobbled together, but they did a great job.

That does look nice, but say to radical for this old bod! In fact, too radical for my 20 year younger bod. My Nortless had about the same riding position, a little higher on the bars, but a 250 mile day was torture!
I wonder how they set up all the electrics and battery?
I don't get the show on my Dish.

I'm guessing it's a sealed battery and the electrics in the tail section.

Just noticed they took of the kicker and kept the electric start. I think I would have went the other way on that too.

Man, watching the video of that C5 wobble reminded me of my first freeway jaunt at 65mph.  That was not fun.  :o

But that was before this forum zeroed in on the tire pressure being set too high on the C5 models.  We tossed out the manual's recommendations very quickly.

I think it's an early C5 with no kicker.

Yeah your right. I thought I read that it was a new C5, but going back and looking at the "before" pictures on their blog, it never had a kick start.

I saw their schedule, it said the Enfield will be featured in 3 weekly episodes, airing on 5/10, 5/10, and 5/17. I think they may have made a typo there, might want to check on 5/3 for the first episode. It's on a premium channel thru my cable provider, which I don't get, but I have a friend recording the whole season for me.

I just sent 2 hours trying to figure out how to get Velocity TV on Dishnetwork......was buried in some odd "Blockbuster" package.....

The bike definitely looks nicer than I thought it would!  Should be a fun show and it looks like there are 2 other Enfield related shows coming up as well.

They might want to consult with our own brothers ACE, Bullet Whisperer, Chumma or Mr. Steve Lindsale.

Just watched a new episode where they're following this guy in Italy who modifies new Royal Enfields. They only really introduced him in the latest episode, so I suspect they'll show more of his stuff next week. The funny thing was, the host of the show referred to Royal Enfields as the "Rodney Dangerfield of the cafe racer scene", in that they've "been around for a hundred years, but they get no respect" ;) Pretty cool if ya ask me!

I wonder if that would be our own brother Pistone A.K.A. Fabrizio "McDeeb" DiBella

Pay no attention to my previous post, my buddy thats recording the shows for me said they play 2 episodes a night, so the first 2 Enfield episodes will air on 5/10, and the last episode will air on 5/17.
