Hello all,
I am new to this site. I have always loved Enfields but never owned one. Looking to purchase one real soon and put a sidecar on it. Which model would be best for this?
Thanks for any and all input
 Mike

If it was me, I'd start here:  http://www.cyclesidecar.com/
2009 Triumph Bonneville T100
2004 Royal Enfield Sixty-5 (RIP)

Just re-read your post.  Do you mean which model or bike or which model of sidecar?

I was asking which model of Enfield would be the best to rig a sidecar too.
I have been on the Cozy web site and really like their product. I WAS LEANING TOWARDS A Electra model Enfield.

They fit any Royal Enfield, but some people (including myself) believe the either the Electra or one of the new Lean-Burn Classics are the best platform. This is primarily because the engine in these models cools a bit better than the Classic Iron Barrel Bullets

I have an 05 Classic 500 ES, w/a Cozy Bullet sidecar. Rides well, looks great. There are a couple of pics in the Photo Gallery of "Bernadine" or in the new catelog on pg. 199, item F shows my rig.

The choice is really up to your taste/style. I don't ride much more than 45 mph  and I find I like to enjoy the scenery. The sidecar is great for carrying my fishing gear!!  ;)

Hi

I fitted a Cozy (direct imported into Australia) about 3 years ago now.  Great fun on my 1997 Classic when used without a passenger or just for luggage.  Around town with a passenger it's ok, all be it very hard on the arms.  However out in the country.  We have a 100kph (62MPH) speed limit out of town and as I live in the country the Enfield just dosn't have enough power. It was designed in the 50's ok to 80kph with a passenger.
Back to a solo again ,only this time it's a New Triumph Bonni,  Now it's got enough power mmmmmmmmmm
