I have seen marks on tyre and wheel before to check 'tyre creep' but only on rear wheels.

Photos taken outside the Chennai factory.

I never had time to talk to the rider who had been talking to factory staff.

That looks a lot like the concept bike that was posted recently.  Different bars, the concept had lower clip ons, but I think the rest is the same.  Same frame for sure.

And on closer inspection those are clip ons of a sort.  More like Heli-bars.

To ride or not to ride... That is the question!

quick question: I really like the standard ride position on my enfield...How much of a difference is their if they did go to a cafe style machine..I'm thinking of my 53 yr. old spine...would pull back bars be a solution..

Those handlebars hurt my soul.

WTF?

I mean, I think I get it...real clip-ons in India are generally a terrible idea, but you want a cafe bike, so you end up with this.  But good lord.  A drag bar or a low-rise would be honest and practical, if not as "correct" or cool as real clip-ons.  Fakey clip-on riser-things are just not cutting it.

Those handlebars hurt my soul.

WTF?

My only guess is that these can be set high or low really easily.  Want to to drop them down and check handling, go ahead.  Want to cruise around all day just to log miles and check longevity, go ahead.  It's 10 seconds to change the poition.

GreenMachine, if there's any doubt there is no doubt.  You won't like it.  I'm younger than you but my back is older ;)  I can't look at bars like that without hurting.  Still, easy enough to remove the clip ons and mount another set of bars, you'll probabaly need to re-route some cables.

Is it actually easy to mount another set of bars?  Doesn't look like there's any supplemental clamp for tubulars.

And I think they'd be just as ridiculous flipped upside down as they are right-side up...there's low, and then there's the far-famed and dreaded "have-to-turn-your-head-sideways-and-flatten-it-against-the-top-fork-crown-to-reach-the-bars low."

Not that a set of reasonable clip-ons isn't a cheap and easy swap-in.  Just that the bike is then, IMHO, quite unsuited for average Indian riding conditions.

Edit: By the way, I DO like the bike!  I don't want to sound [entirely] like some nit-picky asshole.  But obviously, one detail is irking me.
