I just installed this thought it was kind of a neat set up, I am sure I am not the only one that has it.

I liked the dual purpose usage.

anyway....

the pad, where did it come from? I have the other black carrier with pad option and lets say it was a little "diy" and I had to kinda finish it myself right as far as brackets and attachments go.

Hey Jon,

There is a guy in Nevada that has these custom made for 75 bucks.  I liked it because I never have a passenger anymore, but if I do its ready to go.  I can email you the info if you would like.

For those times that you need to carry a case of beer and a girl at the same time.   ;D

Abe, I am curious how you mount the seat to the carrier. I have the black rectangular carrier and I have mounted a pad to it. I made sure that the pad can be removed with the carrier still on the bike but I wish it was a little more "quick change"

Looks great! What does the Ms think about it?

The pad itself attaches to the rack with Velcro straps, comes on and off quick and easy. As far as the Ms goes, its good for short rides to dinner and the like but anything over an hour it would get a little uncomfortable.  The workmanship on the pad is better than the solo seat and makes the saddle look a little cheesey next to it.

abe out.... :)
