Hi All,

Now up to 112 miles on my new AVL Military.  The headlight low beam burned out.  High beam works but that's just an invite to the local cops. ;-)
I have a great dealer, but he's 1hr by ca;r 2+ by RE in break-in mode.

Is there a usable option that I can get from the local Auto Parts store ?

     It is a standard 5 3/4 inch lamp, #4467. You might consider the 7 inch halogen conversion. Standard 7 inch beams  or H4 bulbs are easier to find.

I just got it and never thought of modifying it already.  Geez, what was I thinking?
after reserachinig  the forum, I think I'll make the change.  I don't ride much at night, but based on the comment, extra light is a good thing.

also rearranging the wires in the headlight module so you can turn all the lights off, and then  choose parKn lights or reg .. great for electric start and no drain on the battery from the lights when You get ready to ride
