It's on my calendar and I'm looking forward to riding my Bullet there again.  I'm thinking of arriving on Thursday so I can get more riding in.  This old flat lander doesn't get much time on the twisties.
Attached a photo of the Bullet in full travel mode just for fun.

I'm going to get there Thurs.  afternoon too. That way I can shake the miles off the old bones and be ready for the action on Fri.
The early birds get the good camping spots too.

P.S. Is your bike still packed up from last year?

I've been dying to do to this event, but I checked mapquest, and it looks like a two-day ride each way for me. I don'r worry about the bike making it, bu that's a lot of vacation time to spend the majority of the trip by myself on the road.

You could always tow/haul it.  No one would give you TOO much static.  ;D

I won't have my bike by then, but this is a short and enjoyable drive for me here in Eugene.
I may take the trip down and check out the festivities. The Courtois River was my stomping grounds back in my high school years (early 60's), and I made the jaunt down there from St. Louis on My Honda 90SS many times.
'On this world beneath the moon,
When Mercury is in the ascendant,
The isle of Scotland will produce a leader,
Who will cause the English discomfort.'
