I have the same bike and I put on the NFEILD Gear (Electra low seat)
looks great and I didn't lose the pillon seat. Just a suggestion

My Precious is a G5, that has quite a similar frame like the Electra. If you´d like to change the bench you do have much less aftermarket parts to choose from than the Iron Barrel modells. On wich continent do you live? In the US you have some seats available from NField, in Europe Hitchcock supplies even more different benches and saddles.
I did like the very smooth standard seat when it was new, but now, 16´kms later I´m sitting five decisive centimeters lower and do have contact to the bottom. I decided to look for an upholsterer, as I didn´t like any of the aftermarket benches. That´s probably the budget sollution if the seat cover is intact. Regards

whenever I take my Electra for a longer ride, my ass starts paining, even the pillion has complained to me a lot of times. Is this because of the leather used or the thing inside the seat is to hard. Please suggest something.

I put the old school lysette style classic seats on my bike.  The good part is you can remove the cover yourself and stuff anything under there.    I bought some two part gel pads and put them in mine.  Works wonderfully and cuts the vibes down a lot.   The only thing  to worry about is putting a protective layer between the jell pad and the springs of the seat as they will cut into the pad over time.

My wife actually prefered the spung seperate pillion to the stock seat also so it work out.

To ride or not to ride... That is the question!
