After fitting a new iridium  spark plug i took the C5 on a 50kl/30mil run.  Bike started up first press of the button  and settled down to a nice idle.
Ran very well during the trip so i thought I'd pull the plug for opinions.

Boy congratulations on a sweet running bike. However the plug suggests that you
should try a slightly colder plug, as this one is white like new, which to my knowledge is not too good for the engine in the longer run ! that's just my opinion, you can also check with an authorized workshop.

Looks ok but 30 miles may not be far enough to tell much about plug color.

Also I gain the impression the bike is not run in yet and is doing a lot of low speed around town running.  I would wait till after the bike has at least had its first service before worrying too much about plug color.

Here, here!

IMO a spark plug needs to get either some high engine speed minutes or quite a few miles on it before the plug will tell anyone much.

Yeah, doesn't look like it has enough color to tell anything yet.

I disagree with you fellers!  >:(

Fact of the matter is that ALOT can be deduced from the picture of Wildbills plug.

Mainly that you need to ride that sweet girl some more.  ;D

There are many threads in RE Forum by ACE and others from their years of experience and great insights on this topic of how to read spark plugs. Too many to list all of them here, but here are a couple of them that I found very helpful - one from this Forum and other from outside.

Looks great for 30 miles! I wouldn't worry about checking out "color" threads until you add some miles as suggested by the RE pundits!
