HI
Put the front plate holder and E.F.I. muffler. on today. All I can say is WOW! Rode the bike about 20 miles in total.
Definitely more power and much better on pickup.
Well worth the trouble and the exhaust note is much much loader than the standard system
Mod well worth doing.

Chrome & black looks super nice.

Still happy with chrome and royal maroon though.

I guess you had to drill the front fender for the RE plate?

Man, I just don't have the heart (translation - balls) to do it.

Looks great though.

ditto on the EFI exhaust.

Sweet looking bike, I like it.
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

I wouldn't do that.  It is sometimes nice to have the rear pegs as a place to park your boots on a long stretch of road.

The number plate looks great! I wonder if anyone ever puts their actual license number on there.

A number of Australian State Governments, presumably following the US trend (piracy legislation is a good example) of changing the law to assist corporations in their efforts to extort even more money, are considering bowing to corporate pressure from companies running toll roads and reintroduce front number plates.

Unfortunately, if it goes through, they will be required to be front facing like those in India so the vintage style ones will not be legal.

I took my rear pegs off, only have to supply a bolt and nut to hold the silencer bracket. I found it makes it quieter for me.

No longer do I hear the wife say... "You should get a seat for me... you already have the foot rests back there"

So, yes, it makes it quieter.

I still find it odd that such a black beauty has a tan seat.. ah well.. still stunning.

I hear the same from my wife.  Complains that I bought it in the first place, but complains she can't go for a ride.

I told her that all I can get her is a pillon.

She said her fat ass won't fit on a pillon.

"Used to" I muttered under my breath, yet somehow her bat hearing picked up on it.
Not good.

She thinks I should put a king / queen seat on it like I had on my other bike.

Not going to happen.

Told her when I finished putting the other bike back together I would put the KQ back on, but I'm still thinking

Solo seat Solo seat Solo seat.

This might be the basis for another poll and additional set of conclusions on motorcycle ownership.

I was happily married for 3 years also, now at 26 and counting...counting...counting.

Like the Meatloaf song Paradise by the dashboard lights.

Promised I would love her till the end of time.  etc. etc. etc.

I remind my wife that the bikes were here before she was... ;)
I got the efi on and love it as well.
Just ordered the pedestrian slicer....may have to have a buddy do the actual drilling.
Your bike looks great!

Thanks for the positive comments.

Making small mods as I go.

Next will be turn signals.

What is the pedestrian slicer if you don't mind me asking?

My wife never had a problem hopping on the back of my chopper in the old days.

Now it's an issue.

Were you married to her then? My wife used to ride with me all the time, then we got married. I don't think she's been riding with me since then...15 years and many bikes ago. All she does is bellyache about the places I go without her. All she has to do is get on!

No bare, not married then.  In fact her mother hated me then because I was some biker houligan.  Now her mother loves me and she hates me.
They always say to check the mom before you marry the daughter, because the daughter becomes the mom.

In the UK  you can not have a numberplate with reg. No.on the front of the bike after 1/9/2001,previous to that  you can display one if you want too,It does not say that you cannot have one without your registration though ,the reason they were discontinued  were that they were pedestrian slicers.................
